The Islamic Development Bank is a multilateral development bank, working to improve the lives of those it serves by promoting social and economic development in Member countries and Muslim communities worldwide, delivering impact at scale.
To support the IsDB President, Dr Bandar Hajjar’s efforts to modernize the Islamic Development Bank’s brand and communications, id rebranded the bank – the first time this international institution had changed its identity in 43 years.
Introducing a new visual brand identity, in line with their future-facing strategy focused on innovation and partnerships, id also renamed the Bank, shortening the identity to IsDB in line with more western banking Brands, and launched the brand in Jeddah to a global audience.
We advised and created the design framework for IsDB’s website and worked with their web developers to bring it to life.
Since this global rebrand, id has created four new brands for the bank (Engage, Transform, The Transformers Summit & PPP) and created journals, books, invites and event collateral.
